PORTUGAL, Sep. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Benfica. After their 3-2 win against Moreirense on August 29, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 6-0 victory over Belenenses this Friday.
Mitroglou Kostas and Jonas scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Mitroglou Kostas ('6) and Jonas ('17, '40). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mitroglou Kostas '53, Gaitan Nicolas '60 and Talisca Anderson '63).
SL Benfica climbed to first place with 9 points from 4 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up FC Porto, which has a game in hand.
