Primeira Liga (Week 3) : Benfica beats Moreirense 3-2
PORTUGAL, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Arouca on August 23, the Eagles bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Moreirense this Saturday.
Moreirense had started off well by taking the lead in the 29th minute with a goal by Brazilian forward Martins Rafael. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Eagles nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring three times in the second period (Jimenez Raul '75, Samaris '76 and Jonas '86).
SL Benfica climbed to second place with 6 points from 3 games, only one point behind FC Porto.
