PORTUGAL, Aug. 21, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 2: After a 0-2 victory over Estoril on August 15, the Fogaceiros lost 3-0 against Moreirense.
Moreirense dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Roberto Rodrigo in the 12th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Verdes-e-Brancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Oliveira Marcelo '69 and Geraldes Francisco '81).
Moreirense FC climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, 2 points behind Sporting Clube de Portugal.
