PORTUGAL, Aug. 13, 2016 (AMP) — Primeira Liga: Moreirense and Paços de Ferreira opened the 2016-2017 season with an entertaining 1-1 draw on Saturday.

Paços de Ferreira players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Welthon Sampaio in the 42nd minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Moreirense with a saving goal from Moreirense forward Ença Fati in the 71st minute.
