PORTUGAL, Aug. 6, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga: Sporting Clube de Portugal won their first game of season against Desportivo das Aves.

Martins Gelson scored dual goals

Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Martins Gelson in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Martins Gelson in the 75th minute.
