PORTUGAL, Nov. 26, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 12: After their 2-2 draw against Braga on November 5, the Sportinguistas bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Paços de Ferreira this Sunday.
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Argentine midfielder Battaglia Rodrigo in the 20th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Martins Gelson in the 74th minute.
Sporting Clube de Portugal remains in second place with 30 points from 12 games, 2 points behind FC Porto.
