PORTUGAL, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 3: Three wins in a row for Sporting Lisbon. After their success against Aves and Vitoria Setubal, the Sportinguistas continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 5-0 victory over Vitoria Guimaraes this Saturday.
Fernandes Bruno and Bas Dost scored dual goals
Sporting Lisbon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Fernandes Bruno ('3) and Dost ('21, '23). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Sportinguistas further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Fernandes Bruno '60 and Silva Adrien '85).
Sporting Clube de Portugal climbed to first place with 9 points from 3 games, tie on points with runner-up Rio Ave FC.
