PORTUGAL, Aug. 19, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 3: Three wins in a row for Benfica. After their success against Braga and Chaves, the Eagles continued their sensational form in the Primeira Liga with a 5-0 victory over Belenenses this Saturday.
Jonas Oliveira scored dual goals
Benfica dominated the first half thanks to goals from Jonas Oliveira ('2), Salvio Eduardo ('28) and Seferovic ('33). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Eagles further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Jonas Oliveira '90 and Jonas Oliveira '90).
SL Benfica climbed to first place with 9 points from 3 games, tie on points with runner-up Sporting Clube de Portugal.
