Primeira Liga (Week 13) : Rio Ave defeats Tondela 3-1
PORTUGAL, Dec. 2, 2017 (AMP) — Primeira Liga / Match day 13: After losing 0-1 to Vitoria Guimaraes on November 27, Rio Grande bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Tondela this Saturday.
Rio Ave dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Pele Judilson in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Rio Grande further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Guedes Helder '47 and Ribeiro '81).
Rio Ave FC remains in 6th place with 20 points from 13 games, 4 points behind CS Maritimo.
