Segunda division (Week 2) : Betis beats Numancia 2-1
SPAIN, Aug. 31, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Real Betis. After their 2-3 win against Sabadell on August 24, Los Beticos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Numancia this Sunday.
Castro scored dual goals
Castro opened the score in the 5th minute, before seeing Numancia catch up in the 21st minute thanks to Palanca. 1-1 at half time. Los Beticos eventually won the game in the second period with with another goal by Castro on penalty in the 76th minute.
Real Betis climbed to first place with 6 points from 2 games, tie on points with runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon.
