SPAIN, Aug. 30, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: After their 0-0 draw against Lugo on August 24, Los Rojillos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Racing Santander this Saturday.
Mirandés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ruper in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Caneda in the 47th minute.
CD Mirandés climbed to third place with 4 points from 2 games, tie on points with CA Osasuna.
