Segunda division (Week 3) : Valladolid defeats Santander 3-1
SPAIN, Sep. 7, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 3: After losing 1-0 to Lugo on August 30, Los Pucelanos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Racing Santander this Sunday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Gonzalez in the 37th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Diaz '47 and Marti '68).
Real Valladolid climbed to fourth place with 6 points from 3 games, tie on points with SD Ponferradina.
