Segunda division (Week 4) : Las Palmas beats Santander 2-1
SPAIN, Sep. 13, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 4: Two wins in a row for Las Palmas. After their 3-0 win against Lugo on September 7, Los Amarillos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Racing Santander this Saturday.
Racing Santander had started off well by taking the lead in the 30th minute with a goal by Miguelez. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Amarillos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Araujo '79 and Lopez '86).
UD Las Palmas climbed to first place with 10 points from 4 games, one point ahead of runner-up SD Ponferradina.
