Segunda division (Week 5) : Las Palmas beats Alcorcon 4-1
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for Las Palmas. After their success against Lugo and Racing Santander, Los Amarillos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 4-1 victory over Alcorcon this Saturday.
Araujo scored dual goals
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Aleman in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Araujo '67, '70 and Momo '78).
UD Las Palmas remains in first place with 13 points from 5 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon.
