Segunda division (Week 5) : Valladolid defeats Tenerife 2-1
SPAIN, Sep. 21, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 5: Three wins in a row for Valladolid. After their success against Racing Santander and Alcorcon, Los Pucelanos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Tenerife this Sunday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rueda in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Timor in the 66th minute.
Real Valladolid climbed to second place with 12 points from 5 games, only one point behind UD Las Palmas.
