Segunda division (Week 21) : Betis defeats Gijon 2-1
SPAIN, Jan. 18, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 21: After two straigth draws against Tenerife and Sabadell, Los Rojiblancos lost 2-1 against Real Betis.
Sporting Gijon had started off well by taking the lead in the 5th minute with a goal by Muniz. Trailing 1-0 at half time, Los Beticos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Bruno '52 and Torres '65).
Real Betis climbed to second place with 40 points from 21 games, 3 points behind UD Las Palmas.
