Segunda division (Week 20) : Betis beats Tenerife 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 10, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: After their 0-0 draw against Alcorcon on January 4, Los Beticos bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Tenerife this Saturday.
Castro scored dual goals
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Castro in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Castro '69 and Molina '80).
Real Betis climbed to third place with 37 points from 20 games, tie on points with Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
