Segunda division (Week 20) : Valladolid defeats Alavés 2-0
SPAIN, Jan. 11, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: Three wins in a row for Valladolid. After their success against Barcelona B and Zaragoza, Los Pucelanos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Alavés this Sunday.
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rubio in the 17th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mojica in the 75th minute.
Real Valladolid climbed to second place with 38 points from 20 games, 4 points behind UD Las Palmas.
