Segunda division (Week 19) : Mirandés beats Alavés 3-1
SPAIN, Jan. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: After their 1-1 draw against Zaragoza on December 20, Los Rojillos returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Alavés this Saturday.
Mirandés dominated the first half thanks to goals from Martinez ('7) and Vera ('20). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Rojillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Barahona seconds before the end of regulation.
CD Mirandés climbed to 8th place with 28 points from 19 games, tie on points with Real Zaragoza, which has a game in hand.
