Segunda division (Week 19) : Tenerife and Gijon play out 1-1 draw
SPAIN, Jan. 4, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: Sporting Gijon was held to a 1-1 draw by Tenerife on Sunday.
Tenerife players started off well by taking the lead thanks to Ifran Sala in the 14th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Sporting Gijon with a saving goal from Ndi in the 51st minute.
Real Sporting de Gijon remains in second place with 37 points from 19 games, 2 points behind UD Las Palmas.
