Segunda division (Week 19) : Las Palmas beats Barcelona B 2-0
SPAIN, Jan. 3, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: After losing 1-2 to Osasuna on December 21, Los Amarillos returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Barcelona B this Saturday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Aleman in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Mesa in the 70th minute.
UD Las Palmas remains in first place with 39 points from 19 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
