Segunda division (Week 26) : Leganés beats Santander 2-1
SPAIN, Feb. 21, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 26: Four wins in a row for Leganés. After their success against Llagostera, Mallorca and Lugo, Los Pepineros continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Racing Santander this Saturday.
Mantovani opened the score in the 26th minute, before seeing Racing Santander catch up in the 34th minute thanks to Mariano. 1-1 at half time. Los Pepineros eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Chuli in stoppage time.
CD Leganés climbed to 7th place with 38 points from 26 games, 3 points behind Real Zaragoza, which has a game in hand.
