Segunda division (Week 26) : Gijon defeats Mirandés 4-1
SPAIN, Feb. 22, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 26: After their 0-0 draw against Girona on February 15, Los Rojiblancos bounced back with a 4-1 victory over Mirandés this Sunday.
Castro scored dual goals
Sporting Gijon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Castro ('11) and Carmona ('15). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Castro '72 and Barrera '89).
Real Sporting de Gijon climbed to second place with 51 points from 26 games, tie on points with UD Las Palmas.
