Segunda division (Week 29) : Alavés beats Mallorca 2-0
SPAIN, Mar. 14, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 29: After losing 2-1 to Sabadell on March 8 and 3-1 to Llagostera on March 8, Los Babazorros bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Mallorca this Saturday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Juanma in the 28th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Lanzarote in the 56th minute.
RCD Mallorca remains in 10th place with 37 points from 29 games, one point behind CD Leganés.
