Segunda division (Week 9) : Mallorca defeats Llagostera 4-1
SPAIN, Oct. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: Two wins in a row for Mallorca. After their 2-0 win against Alavés on October 11, Los Bermellones continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 4-1 victory over Llagostera this Sunday.
Mallorca dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Asensio in the 24th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Bermellones further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Markovic '54, Fofo '62 and Arana '85).
RCD Mallorca climbed to 18th place with 8 points from 9 games, tie on points with Racing Santander.
