Segunda division (Week 9) : Mirandés defeats Albacete 3-2
SPAIN, Oct. 18, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After losing 1-0 to Ponferradina on October 11, Los Rojillos bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Albacete this Saturday.
Albacete had started off well by taking the lead thanks to goals by Portu ('13, '20), while Mirandés only scored once Vera ('15). Trailing 2-1 at half time, Los Rojillos nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Kijera '47 and Garcia '90).
CD Mirandés climbed to 14th place with 10 points from 9 games, tie on points with CE Sabadell FC, which has a game in hand.
