SPAIN, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 8: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 3-0 win against Ponferradina on October 4, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Albacete this Saturday.
All the action happened in the first half, with Sanchon goal in the 25th minute.
Girona FC climbed to first place with 17 points from 8 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up SD Ponferradina.
