Segunda division (Week 9) : Las Palmas beats Numancia 2-0
SPAIN, Oct. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After their 1-1 draw against Sporting Gijon on October 12 and 0-0 draw against Real Betis on October 12, Los Amarillos bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Numancia this Sunday.
Las Palmas dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Culio in the 34th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Amarillos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Hernan in stoppage time.
UD Las Palmas climbed to second place with 18 points from 9 games, 2 points behind Girona FC.
