SPAIN, Oct. 19, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 9: After losing 2-1 to Sporting Gijon on October 12, Los Pepineros returned to winning ways with a 1-0 victory over Real Betis this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Velasco seconds before the end of regulation.
Real Betis are down in 8th place with 14 points from 9 games, one point behind UD Las Palmas, which has a game in hand.
