Segunda division (Week 10) : Betis defeats Recreativo 3-2
SPAIN, Oct. 25, 2014 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 10: After losing 1-0 to Leganés on October 19, Los Beticos bounced back with a 3-2 victory over Recreativo this Saturday.
Real Betis dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rennella ('10) and Castro ('43 on penalty). Leading 2-1 at the break, Los Beticos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kadir on penalty in the 65th minute.
Real Betis climbed to fifth place with 17 points from 10 games, tie on points with Real Sporting de Gijon, which has a game in hand.
