Segunda division (Week 2) : Numancia defeats Girona 3-2
SPAIN, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: Two wins in a row for Numancia. After their 6-3 win against Tenerife on August 23, Los Numantinos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-2 victory over Girona this Saturday.
Valcarce Pablo scored dual goals
Valcarce Pablo opened the score in the 2nd minute, before seeing Girona catch up in the 35th minute thanks to Mata Jaime. 1-1 at half time. Los Numantinos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Aquino Dani ('83 on penalty) and Valcarce Pablo ('90).
CD Numancia remains in first place with 6 points from 2 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up CD Lugo.
