SPAIN, Aug. 29, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 2: After losing 3-2 to Almeria on August 23, Los Pepineros bounced back with a 3-1 victory over Cordoba this Saturday.
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to goals from Eizmendi Alain ('25) and Lazaro Borja ('35). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Szymanowski Alexander in the 47th minute.
CD Leganés climbed to 6th place with 3 points from 2 games, tie on points with SD Ponferradina, AD Alcorcon and CA Osasuna.
