Segunda division (Week 5) : Alavés defeats Almeria 2-0
SPAIN, Sep. 20, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 5: After losing 3-0 to Llagostera on September 12 and 2-3 to Mirandés on September 12, Los Babazorros returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Almeria this Sunday.
Alavés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Garcia Raul in the 9th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Babazorros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Toquero Gaizka in stoppage time.
Deportivo Alavés climbed to 7th place with 9 points from 5 games, tie on points with CD Lugo.
