SPAIN, Nov. 8, 2015 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 12: Two wins in a row for Lugo. After their 2-0 win against Tenerife on October 31, El Luguiño continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Girona this Sunday.
Girona made Lugo doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Marcos Sergio with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Lugo climbed to fifth place with 19 points from 12 games, tie on points with Gimnastic de Tarragona.
