Segunda division (Week 34) : Elche beats Lugo 2-0
SPAIN, Apr. 16, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: After their 0-0 draw against Osasuna on April 10, Los Franjiverdes returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Lugo this Saturday.
Elche dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Leon Sergio in the 40th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Franjiverdes further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Cristaldo Franco in the 72nd minute.
Elche CF climbed to fifth place with 52 points from 34 games, tie on points with Gimnastic de Tarragona, which has a game in hand.
