SPAIN, Apr. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 34: After four straigth draws, Los Rojiblancos returned to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Ponferradina this Sunday.
Quique Gonzalez scored dual goals
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Reyes Lorenzo ('4) and Quique Gonzalez ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Quique Gonzalez in the 59th minute.
SD Ponferradina remains in 17th place with 38 points from 34 games, tie on points with RCD Mallorca, which has a game in hand.
