Segunda division (Week 35) : Almeria defeats Athletic B 3-2
SPAIN, Apr. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Almeria. After their 1-3 win against Ponferradina on April 17, Los Rojiblancos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-2 victory over Bilbao Athletic this Sunday.
Pozo Jose opened the score in the 35th minute, before seeing Bilbao Athletic catch up in the 42nd minute thanks to Guarrotxena Iker. 1-1 at half time. Los Rojiblancos eventually won the game in the second period with two more goals by Quique Gonzalez ('50) and Uche Kalu ('90).
UD Almería climbed to 16th place with 40 points from 35 games, 5 points behind Real Valladolid.
