SPAIN, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: After losing 2-0 to Alcorcon on April 17, Los Pepineros bounced back with a 3-0 victory over Ponferradina this Saturday.
Pena Ruben scored dual goals
Leganés dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ramos Omar in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Pepineros further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Pena Ruben '74, '90).
CD Leganés remains in first place with 60 points from 35 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up Deportivo Alavés, which has a game in hand.
