Segunda division (Week 35) : Girona beats Albacete 3-0
SPAIN, Apr. 23, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 35: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 1-0 win against Alavés on April 16, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 3-0 victory over Albacete this Saturday.
Mata Jaime scored dual goals
Girona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mata Jaime in the 3rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Mata Jaime '46 and Lejeune Florian '77).
Girona FC climbed to fifth place with 52 points from 35 games, only one point behind Real Oviedo.
