SPAIN, May. 1, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 36: Three wins in a row for Girona. After their success against Alavés and Albacete, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 1-0 victory over Tenerife this Sunday.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Lekic Dejan in the 61st minute.
Girona FC climbed to 6th place with 55 points from 36 games, only one point behind CA Osasuna.
