SPAIN, Jan. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 21: After losing 1-0 to Alcorcon on January 9, the Blanquivermells bounced back with a 4-0 victory over Ponferradina this Sunday.
Olivas Kiko scored dual goals
Girona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Mata Jaime in the 36th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Olivas Kiko '50, '67 and Morillas Jairo '75).
SD Ponferradina are down in 15th place with 26 points from 21 games, one point behind CD Numancia.
