SPAIN, Dec. 4, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 17: Les Granotes crashed to their 2nd consecutive defeat as they lost 2-1 against Girona.
Girona dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Longo Samuele in the 44th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Blanquivermells further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ramalho Jonas in the 71st minute.
Levante UD remains in first place with 24 points from 13 games, a 2-point lead over runner-up Girona FC.
