SPAIN, Dec. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 18: After three straigth victories against Lugo, Huesca and Levante, the Blanquivermells lost 2-1 against Alcorcon.
Alcorcon dominated the first half thanks to goals from Plano Oscar ('6) and Rodriguez David ('26 on penalty). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Alfareros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by in the th minute.
Girona FC remains in second place with 22 points from 14 games, 5 points behind Levante UD.
