Segunda division (Week 18) : Valladolid beats Mirandés 5-0
SPAIN, Dec. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 18: Two wins in a row for Valladolid. After their 0-3 win against Mallorca on December 4, Los Pucelanos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 5-0 victory over Mirandés this Sunday.
Mata Jaime scored dual goals
Valladolid dominated the first half thanks to goals from Arnaiz Jose ('5) and Villar Juan ('33). Leading 2-0 at the break, Los Pucelanos further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Mata Jaime '51/penalty, '72 and De Tomas Raul '85).
Real Valladolid climbed to third place with 22 points from 16 games, tie on points with Girona FC, which has two games in hand.
