Segunda division (Week 18) : Almeria beats Mallorca 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 11, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 18: After losing 1-0 to Numancia on December 3, Los Rojiblancos bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Mallorca this Sunday.
Almeria dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Puertas Antonio in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Rojiblancos further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Fidel Chaves on penalty in the 54th minute.
UD Almería climbed to 6th place with 20 points from 15 games, tie on points with SD Huesca, which has a game in hand.
