Segunda division (Week 19) : Tenerife beats Alcorcon 2-0
SPAIN, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: After losing 1-0 to Levante on December 10, Los Chicharreros returned to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Alcorcon this Saturday.
Tenerife dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Ndiaye Amath in the 26th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Chicharreros further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Niguez Aaron with just 2 minutes remaining in regulation time.
CD Tenerife climbed to 11st place with 20 points from 15 games, tie on points with Real Zaragoza, which has a game in hand.
