SPAIN, Dec. 18, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: Two wins in a row for Zaragoza. After their 2-1 win against Real Oviedo on December 11, Los Blanquillos continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano this Sunday.
Rayo Vallecano made Zaragoza doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Moreno Alex ('73 own) and Angel Rodriguez ('84 on penalty).
Real Zaragoza climbed to fourth place with 23 points from 15 games, only one point behind Getafe CF.
