Segunda division (Week 19) : Cordoba defeats Oviedo 2-1
SPAIN, Dec. 17, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 19: After losing 1-3 to Getafe on November 27, Los Califas bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Real Oviedo this Saturday.
Cordoba dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Galan Javi in the 21st minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Califas further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Dominguez Borja in the 47th minute.
Cordoba CF climbed to 8th place with 21 points from 15 games, tie on points with SD Huesca.
