SPAIN, Sep. 24, 2016 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 7: Three wins in a row for Cordoba. After their success against Levante and Alcorcon, Los Califas continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Gimnastic de Tarragona this Saturday.
Rodri Rios scored dual goals
Cordoba dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Rodri Rios in the 38th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, Los Califas further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Rodri Rios in the 61st minute.
Cordoba CF climbed to first place with 13 points from 6 games, a 3-point lead over runner-up CD Lugo.
