SPAIN, Jan. 8, 2017 (AMP) — Segunda division / Match day 20: Two wins in a row for Girona. After their 4-2 win against Gimnastic de Tarragona on December 17, the Blanquivermells continued their sensational form in the Segunda division with a 2-0 victory over Zaragoza this Sunday.
45 minutes of play and neither Girona nor Zaragoza have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Sandaza Fran ('69) and Alcaraz Ruben ('90).
Girona FC remains in second place with 28 points from 16 games, 5 points behind Levante UD.
